Our Year-Round Schedule



You are more than welcome to join a class at anytime as long as there are open spots in the class. We will pro rate the tuition accordingly.

• Please select the appropriate class for your child. New students with prior experience must schedule an evaluation with the office before registering for a class.

• Please respect our age groups. If your child has met the skill requirements to move to the next level, but you are unable to register them in a class because of their age please call the office so we can place your child in the correct class.


Tuitions listed on classes below are monthly for one time a week and do not include the annual registration fee.

Preschool Gymnastics Classes - (ages walking - 5 yrs)

Parent Tot - (ages walking - 2.5yrs) - 40 min.

This class is designed for our newest movers. Once your child is confidently walking and you are ready to get them moving, join us to start cooperative play, balancing, hanging, and rolling in a safe and fun environment. This is a parent/caregiver participation class.


Transitioning Twos - (age 2.5 - 3yrs) - 40 min.

Our Transitioning Twos program is for parent tot students who are ready for more independence. This 40 minute co-ed gymnastics focused class is a time where parents are welcome to come participate in class with their children. Parents are invited to be as involved as needed as their child gains independence at their own pace. Our skilled staff will help prepare parents and children to start having time apart to grow and learn while maintaining the comfort of being near. This class is based on instructor recommendation.


Thrilling Threes - (age 3) - 50 min.

Our Thrilling Threes program is for children who are three years old up until they turn four. This 50 minute co-ed gymnastics focused class will help be a child’s first introduction to a classroom experience with parents on the other side of the door. Our skilled staff will encourage children to explore and learn as they find new ways to move, have fun, and interact with others.


Fabulous Fours - (age 4) - 50 min.

Our Fabulous Fours program is for children who are four years old up until they turn five. This 50 minute co-ed gymnastics class is a child’s first introduction to our downstairs preschool area where they will get to spend time on trampoline, bars, beams, and floor apparatuses. Our skilled staff will assist children in learning valuable skills in this class going beyond gymnastics itself such as listening, taking turns, working hard, and trying their best.


Fantastic Fives - (age 5) - 50 min.

Our Fantastics Fives program is for children who are five years old up until they turn six. This 50 minute co-ed gymnastics class is a great opportunity for children to gain strength and confidence in their skills on all the gymnastics apparatuses. Our skilled staff will challenge children to learn body and spatial awareness through gymnastics experience as they work on balance, dynamic movement, social competence, and listening skills.


Gymnastics & Dance Classes - (ages 3-5 & 6+)

Tumble & Twirl - Ages 3-5 - 50 min

Gymnastics or Dance... why not both! Students will spend half the time in the dance studio learning skills in ballet, jazz and hip hop. They then will make their way to the gym to work on gymnastics, which includes, bars, floor, vault and balance beam. Students will also do activities and learn fun routines where they learn how we can combine gymnastics and dance.


Dance & Tumble - Ages 6 & up - 1 hour

Gymnastics or Dance... why not both! Students will spend half the time in the dance studio learning skills in ballet, jazz and hip hop. Recreational Gymnastics Classes (GIRLS) - (ages 6 & up)

Beginner Gymnastics I - 1 hr

This class is an introductory gymnastics class for girls ages six and up. Students will learn skills on bars, balance beam, vault, floor, and trampoline. Skills mastered in this level are required to move to the next level, Beginner Two.


Beginner Gymnastics II - 1 hr

This class is the second level of gymnastics classes for girls ages six and up. Beginner One is a prerequisite for this class.  Students will learn harder level skills on bars, balance beam, vault, floor, and trampoline. Skills mastered in this level are required to move to the next level, Intermediate/Advanced.


Intermediate/ Advanced Gymnastics I - 1 hr 25 min

This class is the third and final level of gymnastics offered and is for ages six and up. Beginner Two is a prerequisite for this class. Students will learn harder level skills on bars, balance beam, vault, floor, and trampoline. Students will be challenged throughout this class in order to gain their highest skills on each event.

Recreational Gymnastics Classes (BOYS) - (ages 6 & up)

Beginner Boys I - 1 hr

This class is an introductory gymnastics class for boys ages six and up. They will learn skills on high bar, pommel horse, parallel bars, rings, vault, floor, and trampoline. Skills mastered in this level are required to move to the next level, Beginner Boys Two.


Beginner Boys II - 1 hr

This class is the second level of gymnastics classes for boys ages six and up. Beginner Boys One is a prerequisite for this class.  Students will learn harder level skills on high bar, pommel horse, parallel bars, rings, vault, floor, and trampoline. Skills mastered in this level are required to move to the next level, Intermediate.


Intermediate Boys - 1 hr 25 min

This class is the third and final level of gymnastics offered and is for ages six and up. Beginner Boys Two is a prerequisite for this class. Students will learn harder level skills on high bar, pommel horse, parallel bars, rings, vault, floor, and trampoline. Students will be challenged throughout this class in order to gain their highest skills on each event.

Tumbling Classes - (ages 6 & up)

Beginner Tumbling - 1 hr

This hour class is for students with no experience in tumbling. This class will learn forward rolls, backward rolls, handstands, cartwheels, and back bends as well as other skills that introduce tumbling basics. Beginner trampoline skills will also be taught in this level.


Intermediate Tumbling - 1 hr

This hour class is for students that have mastered a back bend, handstand, and cartwheel. In this class students will learn round offs, backwalkovers and begin to learn back handsprings and front flips as well as other tumbling skills. Trampoline skills will also be taught.


Advanced Tumbling - 1 hr

This hour class is for students who have a back walkover and can do a clean back handspring over a boulder. We will begin to learn skills that fly through the sky and use no hands, such as aerials. Back handsprings are the main goal of this class and will also be taught on the trampoline in this level. Running tumbling and tumbling into the pit is introduced in this class.


Cheerleading Classes - (ages 4 & up)

Cheer - (ages 6 & up) - 1 hr

This class is designed for all levels of cheerleaders age six and up to learn and practice their cheerleading skills. Students learn jump and tumbling technique as well as the basics of stunting.



Cheer Kidz - (ages 4 - 5) - 50 min.

This class is designed for aspiring female and male cheerleaders ages 4 and 5 years old. Students will learn the basics of tumbling and cheerleading skills including jumps, cheer dance and floor level stunting. This class is great for any student that is interested in our All Star Cheerleading Program.




TUITION/ PRICING

YEAR-ROUND PROGRAM:
  • MONTHLY CONTINUOUS ENROLLMENT: Payments are made monthly and you don't have to worry about your spot being taken. You are guaranteed your spot all year long.*
  • Our monthly tuition payments are based on an average of four classes per month. No additional charge is assessed for months that offer five classes. In months where holidays, gym closings, snow days, etc. affect the schedule of classes, no tuition is reduced. If you should receive five classes during the month instead of four it will be considered a makeup for classes missed while we are closed for holidays, gym closings, snow days, etc.


We offer continuous enrollment so you can join a class at anytime as long as there are open spots in the class. We will pro rate the tuition accordingly.

  • Payments for classes are due at the time of Registration . This enables us to keep a more accurate count of how many students are enrolled for each class without overbooking classes

*Spot guaranteed as long as you don't withdraw and fees are up to date.

PAYMENT POLICIES:

** Each family is required to have a credit/ debit card on file for payments.

Tuition is paid monthly: Tuition is due on the 1st of each month for that month.

Options for making payments BEFORE the 1st of each month:
If payment is made prior to the 1st of the month by one of the options listed below then no fees will be charged to your credit/ debit card on file.

  1. Payments may be made in person with cash.
  2. Payments may be made with a personal check. Please make your check payable to Power in Motion and please note the student's name, class, day and the time on the memo portion of your check. A $25 fee will be assessed on all returned checks.
  3. Payments may be made with VISA, MasterCard, or Discover.
  4. You may mail payments to: Power in Motion Gymnastics, Dance, & Cheer, 3889 M-139, St. Joseph, MI 49085
  5. Remember, any remaining balances on the 1st of the month will be charged to your credit/ debit card on file. This is done automatically so you will not have to worry about losing your child's /(ren's) spot in class. (Please read the withdrawal policy below)

If there are changes to your credit/debit card the new information must be received by the 20th of the month. Any charges that decline on the 1st of the month can be paid ON the 1st of the month with no penalty. On the 2nd of the month, a $10.00 LATE FEE will be assessed to each account that is not paid. If delinquent tuition is not paid by the 4th of the month, your child(ren) will be tagged inactive by the computer, will be un-enrolled, and children on the waiting list will be called. Once we have received a bad check, all future tuition must be paid with cash or credit/debit card.


REFUND POLICY:
We do not offer credit and/or refunds for missed/ canceled classes due to holiday, vacation, illness, weather or any other reason. Power In Motion does not issue refunds. All sales are final for any product and/or service purchased and/or provided by Power In Motion.

* This does not include the Annual Registration Fee.

ANNUAL REGISTRATION FEE:
This fee is $30 for the first child, $20 for second child or a $50 maximum per family. Registration is due at the time of initial enrollment and renewed annually each year thereafter. This fee covers administrative costs which include registering and maintaining family records. This registration fee applies to ALL programs at Power in Motion.

FAMILY DISCOUNT:
We offer a generous discount for multiple classes for one child and multiple children from one family. There is a 10% Discount for each additional member of the immediate family calculated on the lower priced class(es) for all programs at Power in Motion! This does not include private lessons.

MAKE-UP POLICY:

You MUST contact the office BEFORE your child's scheduled class to inform them of your child not attending to receive a make-up class.

  • Make-ups are allowed when the requested class size permits.
  • You must pre-register for make-up classes through the office or parent portal.
  • We will not offer make-up classes for missed make-up classes.
  • You must be currently active in classes in order to use makeups.
  • There are no make-ups for our competitive programs.
  • No credits or refunds will be given for classes not made up.


WITHDRAWAL POLICY:
If you need to become inactive in any program, a withdrawal form, MUST BE received by the 20th of the month prior to withdrawal.
WE DO NOT ACCEPT WITHDRAWALS OVER THE PHONE. WE MUST RECEIVE AN ONLINE/ELECTRONIC SUBMISSION of the Withdrawal Form.

Please Note:
UNLESS WE RECEIVE PROPER NOTICE, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE NEXT MONTH'S BILLING TUITION. If your child does not attend classes for 2 consecutive months and PIM has not received a withdrawal form or communication that you would like to stay enrolled; your child WILL be dropped from class. There is no credits and/or refunds for missed classes.

Schedule subject to change based on availability. Please call ahead to assure that your class is available. The minimum class size is 3 children and we reserve the right to cancel any class that does not meet the minimum number of children. You are more than welcome to join a class at anytime as long as there are available spots in the class. We will prorate the tuition accordingly.
